Tmux Booster

A tmux session launcher and switcher for jumping between projects, written in Rust.

Tmux Booster is a small command-line tool for moving between projects in tmux. It lists your project directories in a fuzzy finder, and picking one switches to that project's tmux session, or creates the session first if it doesn't exist yet.

It grew out of the shell script from my article on building a tmux project launcher. I rewrote it in Rust to make it a bit faster and easier to configure.

Projects can come from directories that hold projects, from direct project paths, or both. These can be set in a config file at ~/.config/tmux-booster/config.toml, passed as command-line flags, or combined:

    tmux-booster -d ~/projects -d ~/work -p ~/dotfiles
